WeWA Staff and Operations:

1.0 Purpose:

To strive to be the best ewrestling organization in the world. To accurately reflect and simulate the experiences of professional wrestling both as a promoter and a wrestler in all aspects of the job, and to have a fun time doing it.

1.1 Owner:

World eWrestling Alliance is owned by SNC Corperations who has the final say in all matters concerning the company.

WeWA Board of Directors:

1.2 Chairman of the Board:

Shall be responsible for the WeWA's day-to-day operations. This includes, but is not limited to, admitting new member promotions, wrestlers, disciplinary actions, and promoting the general welfare of the organization. The Chairman ultimately has the final say on all WeWA matters, no matter what area of the fed is involved.

1.3 Vice Chairman:

Shall be responsible for operating the WeWA during an absence of the Chairman. This includes, but is not limited to, advising the Chairman of pertinent issues and discharging the duties assigned to him by the Chairman. However, if the Chairman is not absent from the WeWA for more than a week, the Vice Chairman must get final confirmation on any issue, from the WeWA Chairman, before making a decision.

1.4 Director of Operations:

Shall be responsible for insuring that all promotions follow the rules stated herein. Shall also monitor the message boards to ensure board rules are being adhered to. Shall also be responsible for advising the Chairman on legal matters including rights to wrestlers, stable names, show names, etc. that may belong to another promotion in our world. Shall also maintain a list of wrestlers under contract to the WeWA and advise the WeWA Chairman regarding re-signing talent as well as acquiring available unsigned talent.

1.5 Director of State:

Shall be responsible for the recruiting and monitoring of federations not currently affiliated with WeWA. It is important that this person work closely with the other members of the Board of Directors of WeWA to insure that they are familiar with the efforts in making connections with other feds. Also, it is important that this person operate with the greatest integrity when dealing with other feds. They are the first person from WeWA that prospective federations will deal with and base their initial perception of WeWA.

1.6 Director of Public Relations:

Shall be responsible for advertising the WeWA around the internet, as well as helping to keep our public image top notch. Insuring that the word gets out about the alliance to the rest of the world. Shall keep in constant contact with the other members of the Board, and keep them updated on the progress of all advertisements.

1.7 Championship Committee:

Shall be responsible for all WeWA Championships and helping in booking the WeWA Pay-Per-View events, ensuring that every WeWA Championship is defended as per the rules set herein.

Shall be responsible for booking all WeWA Champion's appearances. The regional promoter may request an appearance and send this to the Board of Directors in the form of the Monthly Status Report. The Committee shall confirm such bookings with the regional promoter. After which time, the Committee will then inform the champion of this appearance. The Committee will work alongside the other members of the Board of Directors in making sure that angles and titles are promoted and defended respectively.

The Committee may also schedule appearances in regional promotions for WeWA Champions to insure activity of said champions. The Committee must work closely with all individual federations’ staff in making sure that they are not stepping on the toes of any other person.

The Committee shall participate in regular conversations concerning potential title contenders, angles, etc. with the WeWA Board of Directors.

1.8 Web Master:

Shall be responsible for the overall look and design of the web site. Works closely with all members of the WeWA from the Chairman down to the individual federations’ staff in making sure that the web site is easily navigable and helps to promote the alliance.

WeWA Regional Promotions:

2.00 Membership:

Membership in the WeWA is available to any promotion that requests such and meets the criteria established by the Chairman. Said promotion must fill out an application and agree to be bound by all rules and regulations described herein and any modifications made hereafter.

2.01 Membership Types:

Member Federation: Full membership, territory, access to all resources, PPV activity, Vote in championship matches, and shots at each championship.

Affiliate Federation: Partial membership, territory, access to some resources. An Affiliate Federation will be able to use the WeWA boards as their owns. After 90-days of active affiliation the WeWA Board of Directors may request for the affiliate to become a full member.

2.02 Sanctioning:

All Promotions are required to post all information and links located on our sanctioning page in full on the front page of their website. New members have one (1) week to do so. Failure to provide this information is grounds for revocation of membership.

2.03 Suspension/Revocation of Membership:

A member promotion may have its membership suspended and/or revoked for failure to adhere to the rules stated herein and where such is necessary for the betterment of the organization.

2.04 Qualifications:

Qualified promotions will have a website, email address, MSN/AIM, and ability to run a promotion to the standards set by the WeWA and its member promotions.

2.05 Release Clause:

The accepted promotion shall be given a trial period of four months [120 days], after which the WeWA may terminate the agreement for any reason whatsoever.

2.1 Territories:

Promotions shall be assigned a territorial name representative of their home office. Promotions shall also be given a designated territory in which they may schedule shows exclusively. Other regional promotions may schedule matches in exclusive territories only upon approval of the home promotion. Territories that are not exclusive may be run by any regional promotion.

If a regional promotion fails to run a show in a state that they have exclusive rights to at least once every sixty (60) days, said state shall no longer be considered exclusive to that promotion. Said state may be reassigned exclusivity in the future to the same or another promotion.

2.2 Status Reports:

Each member promotion must submit a status report to the Board of Directors every month. This report shall contain current champions, top contenders, who is getting pushes and why, opinions of current WeWA Champions and potential WeWA champions from said promotion.

Failure to do so will result in the Championship Committee choosing challengers from said region that they think deserve the shots, or lose of any shot for anyone in said region.

2.3 Regional Shows:

Promoters shall provide reasonable notice of their shows to their wrestlers in order for them to adequately participate. Promoters may run their shows, in number, frequency, and type, as they see fit, as long as they do not conflict with the WeWA Events. As well no regional match may violate the WeWA rules. If a WeWA Championship is contested, the promoter must first have permission from the Championship Committee, and then give adequate time for said champion to participate. (For more see Section 5 of the Rule Book. WeWA Championships)

2.4 Regional Championships:

Each member promotion shall have a minimum of one (1) singles championship and one (1) tag team championship. There is no maximum amount, however good judgment should be applied. Names of championship titles shall not conflict with the names of any WeWA Championship. Existing promotions with title name conflicts may be exempt from this rule, and no new titles may be added that will conflict with WeWA title names. No member promotion may have their own "World Title." Any promotion claiming such will have ten (10) days to downgrade the title or face automatic revocation of membership.

Each promoter has total rights to book and award their championships any way they choose in their own region.

They can also create "joint" titles with other regions of the WeWA.

WeWA Events:

3.0 WeWA Shows:

The WeWA will hold a series of annual events which include quarterly pay-per-views, supershows, memorial tournaments, and special event tournaments. All promotions are welcome to participate.

3.1 WeWA Pay-Per-View Events:

The WeWA will hold four (4) annual pay-per-views. Each promotion is encouraged to participate in the WeWA PPVs.

Promoters may also request to host PPVs.

The results for each PPV shall be emailed to the WeWA Championship Committee for review within four (4) days prior to the event, and then to the WeWA Board of Director responsible for putting together the event in a timely fashion to insure that the results may be posted on the WeWA PPV results area. Events will be posted on the date in which the event is to take place, no exceptions.

3.2 WeWA Non-Pay-Per-View Events:

Along with the pay-per-views, the WeWA will also hold two (2) annual Supershows which will feature talent from around the alliance. Promoters may request to host these non-ppv WeWA events.

Such events include WeWA Championship Tournaments and other special tournaments or events.

3.3 WeWA Match Rules:

The following rules are for WeWA Title matches, weather in regions or on WeWA Events.

All WeWA World Titles MUST be officiated by a WeWA licensed referee.

All WeWA title matches must have two WeWA officials, one in ring and one ringside. The official outside the ring will be an enforcer and only get involved in the ring if the in ring referee is incapacitated.

Over the top rope is legal and not grounds for a disqualification.

A twenty count is used if wrestlers are outside the ring.

A five count is used to brake a wrestler from using an illegal hold or move.

It is the discretion of the referee to call a disqualification if a wrestler uses an illegal object or if another wrestler interferes in a match.

If any WeWA Champion (any weight division or tag team) is disqualified, the referee must rule if the champion intentionally caused ones self to be disqualified. In that case the title will change hands. It is solely the discretion of the referee to rule if it was an intentional disqualification.

WeWA Wrestlers:

4.0 Wrestlers:

Only original wrestlers will be accepted into the WeWA and it's members. Any member federation or handler using real wrestlers will be removed from the WeWA as a whole.

4.01 Characters:

No person shall handle more than five (5) wrestlers at any time in the alliance. This does not apply to promoters who use non-role-played wrestlers to fill their roster.

4.02 Wrestler Names:

The name or character of a wrestler shall not be duplicated with current wrestlers in the WeWA or affiliate promotions.

4.03 Match Notification:

Wrestlers shall receive reasonable notice of future matches in order for them to adequately participate.

4.04 Pushes and Title Shots:

Getting a push and title shots are received either from a promoter, the Board of Directors, other opponents, or from your roleplays. You want the big matches and the title shots, you have to show that you want them. You have to work for them.

4.05 Disciplinary Actions:

The WeWA reserves to right to discipline, suspend, or expel anyone at any time for any reason.

4.1 Roleplays:

All roleplayers must send in roleplays via the message board system of the promotion they work for as often as the promotion requires. Failure to comply without proper notification will result in the offending wrestler being removed from the roster of that promotion. Roleplays should be creative but discretion is advised.

Language not heard on broadcast television may appear in an roleplay, but only in moderation. Do not abuse this rule. Promoters may have more stringent or lenient rules.

You should refer to that promotion's rules and adhere to those when posting on regional roleplay boards. Roleplays should not contain the characters of any other person's wrestler(s), promoter(s), WeWA Office Staff, or other WeWA related characters without their prior permission or the permission of the WeWA Chairman. This does not include talking about your opponent, this rule is to keep people from causing damage to anothers character.

Penalties will vary depending on the severity of the infraction. WeWA announcers and reporters may be used without prior permission as long as they are used in their proper function and no physical harm occurs to them, unless permission is given by the WeWA Board of Directors.

4.2 Regional Wrestler Contracts:

Each wrestler is tasked with the responsibility of choosing whether they want to be a under a Full-time contract, a Part-time contract, or a Per Night Contract.

4.21 Full-Time Contract:

Each wrestler shall designate a home booking office, which shall be considered as working for them full-time. By doing so, said wrestler contracts to perform for that regional promotion as deemed necessary by the promoter. Said wrestler may give notice to his home booking office and select a new home booking office provided he fulfills all his scheduled matches.

A promoter has the option to book said wrestler for up to fifteen (15) days from date of notice given. After such time said wrestler may begin wrestling full-time for his new home office.

Each wrestler may have one home promotion, but may actively compete in two NeWA regions.

Scheduled matches are defined as matches published either on a website or via email.

If a wrestler fails to give proper notification of his intent to leave a promotion, said promoter has the right to book said wrestler for up to thirty (30) days before removing him from his roster. Which means that said wrestler will probably get jobbed at the discretion of the promoter.

Each wrestler has the option to terminate his contract with a promoter if said promoter fails to provide wrestler with a minimum of two (2) matches per sixty (60) days. Said wrestler is under no obligation to appear and said promoter is prohibited from booking said wrestler upon this breech of contract.

Said wrestler shall simply notify the promoter and the NeWA Front Office of this breech of contract

4.22 Part-Time Contract:

Part-time contracts are defined by what a wrestler designates as being his second home. The Home Booking office is your full-time contract, with that being, your second home would be the second promotion you are in, and the promoter may add said wrestler to his roster.

4.23 Per Night Contract:

Per Night contract allows a wrestler to appear for one additional show per month for one non-contracted promotion. The wrestler does not have to be added to the promoter's roster for a per night contract.

4.3 Promoters Rights:

Promoters may release a wrestler from their roster at any time to make room for a new wrestler or for any other reason. It is their discretion.

4.4 Free Agent Contracts:

If you have come to the WeWA and filled out the Free Agents Application, you are officially considered to be a WeWA Free Agent Wrestler under the Free Agent Contract.This contract will last for no longer than sixty (60) days, at which time your application will be removed from the Free Agents section.

Once the contract has expired you are free to reapply at any time. If you are signed by a member of the alliance then you are required to notify the Board of Directors. At which time your Free Agent Contract will be made null and void, and you will be removed from the Free Agents Listings.

Free Agents may also apply to be on any WeWA Event to gain exposure. A free agent cannot receive a WeWA Championship match. This right is reserved for regional members.

4.5 WeWA Pay-Per-View Appearances:

To appear on a WeWA PPV, a wrestler should issue challenges on the WeWA roleplay board and solicit help from his home office promoter to secure the bout. The wrestler may also contact the Board of Directors directly with any proposals they might have. All wrestlers shall receive two (2) weeks notice of any upcoming WeWA PPV's by checking their promotion's website or the WeWA website.

A wrestler may also be booked for a match on a WeWA PPV by the WeWA Board of Directors, or by the regional promoter for storyline purposes.

4.6 Championships:

No handler may hold more than four (4) regional titles at one time. Regional championships are determined in any manner the regional promoter sees fit. The WeWA Championship Committee determines all WeWA championships. (Form more see section 5 of the Rule Book. WeWA Championships)

WeWA Championships:

5.0 WeWA Board Sanctioned Championships:

This is the goal of being a wrestler whether in real life or here in the world of cyberspace, to hold a championship belt is to be recognized as the best. Board sanctioned championships are decided by the Championship Committee, composed of the Board of Directors. Currently the WeWA Sanctions two (2) championships, and three (3) special tournament championships.

5.01 WeWA World Heavyweight Championship:

The World Heavyweight Championship is the prestigious title that can be held. To hold this title is a great honor. It has been held by and competed for by true legends.

5.02 WeWA World Tag Team Championships:

The World Tag Team Championships are the prestigious tag team titles that can be held. To hold these titles is a great honor. It has been held by and competed for by true legends.

5.03 Steven W. Pagano Memorial Cup:

The Pagano Cup is a tournament created in the memory of a great friend, lost to a deadly disease. Every year we celebrate his life by holding a tournament in his honor. The Pagano Cup dates back to June 2001. Two months after Steve Pagano's death at the hands of cystic fibrosis. Fighting hard to stay alive and living two years past the date doctors had given him, he finally succumbed to the disease on Thursday April 19, 2001, he was 31 years old. Being notified by email of his passing by his mother, the efed world was forever changed as a great mind was taken from us.

In June with the help of Adam Wemp, William Tocci, and many others, we banded together in memory of our friend to create a Memorial event. After four years of going unrecognized, the WCCW returned and brought with it the Steven W. Pagano Memorial Cup. With the creation of the WeWA and WCCW being owned by the same people, The Pagano Cup was moved from a regional event to an Alliance event.

Rest In Peace Steven W. Pagano. We Miss You.

5.04 King of the Death Match:

The King of the Death Match is an event encompassing all hardcore or death match style matches. This is the event where blood lust thrives. The winner of the tournament is named the King of the Death match.

5.05 Young Lions Cup:

The Young Lions Cup is an event for the up and comers in the alliance. The winner of this is usually poised for a huge push through the ranks of the Alliance.

5.1 WeWA Championship Booking:

WeWA Championships are available for booking through the Championship Committee. The Championship Committee will produce a calender based on the requests made each month. Scheduling a champion is done through the Monthly Status Report. If you do not send in a report, you will not get a title shot. Promoters should notify the Championship Committee with the Date, Event Name, and Challenger (if known).

Promoters must inform the Championship Committee of any relevant information regarding a WeWA Title Match, including roleplay and strategy deadlines. The Committee will review the information and have the winner chosen two (2) days prior to the scheduled match. These match must be "hand written". If the Promoter fails to post the result to the website within 48 hours(2 Days) of the show date, then the match will be deemed a no contest.

5.2 WeWA Championship Contracts:

WeWA Champions are contracted for one (1) calendar month, starting with the month in which they win a WeWA Championship, to appear at WeWA events and/or WeWA member promotions' events. This contract shall renew itself at the first (1st) of each month for an additional calendar month perpetually as long as said wrestler remains a champion or until said champion provides proper notification to the WeWA Board of Directors of his/her intent to leave the WeWA.

Upon loss of WeWA Championship status, wrestler is still bound to the end of that calendar month in which the loss occurred. If the loss occurs within the last seven (7) days of a calendar month, the WeWA has the option to renew the contract for one (1) additional calendar month. After such time wrestler shall be considered a free agent and regular contract rules shall then apply to him. The wrestler also has the option to resume his/her contract with the member promotion in which he/she was contracted to prior to winning a WeWA Championship.

In the event a current champion intends to leave the WeWA, forfeit a title, or surrender a title, he shall provide the Board of Directors with a fifteen (15) day notice of his intentions. The WeWA reserves the right to schedule matches for said wrestler for up to thirty (30) days from the date of notification. The WeWA also reserves the right to book matches with said wrestler for up to thirty (30) days from the date the WeWA decides that a wrestler has failed to give proper notification.

The WeWA may assign a new handler for the wrestler that fails to give proper notification.

5.3 WeWA Champions:

Champions are expected to make themselves accessible to all promoters within the alliance in order to defend their title in all applicable territories and are under no restrictions as to the number of regional promotions they may appear at.

5.31 Regional Championship Defenses:

Set up through the Championship Calender, these are the title defenses made by the WeWA Champions that happens in each region. Promoters are in charge of who faces the champion, as he is to tell the Championship Committee so that these defenses may happen.

Champions are expected to roleplay on the regional Roleplay Board and WeWA General Roleplay Board before each match, whether title or non-title. In the case of a title match, failure to do so may result in a title change.

Champions are required to Roleplay on the WeWA General Roleplay Board a minimum of once per month in addition to any roleplays for PPV title defenses. All wrestlers must also roleplay on the special events board if selected for a PPV event. They need not roleplay there otherwise. Prior notice of a problem must be given to the Board of Directors to provide an exception to this rule.

5.32 WeWA Pay-Per-View Championship Defenses:

WeWA Champions are expected to defend their title at each WeWA PPV and to roleplay heavily for any PPV title defenses on the WeWA General Roleplay Board as well as the PPV specific Board. The WeWA Board of Directors may exempt a champion from a title defense on a PPV.

5.33 WeWA Special Event Championship Defenses:

WeWA Champions are not expected to defend their title at the WeWA Special Events, unless otherwise booked by the Championship Committee. Any title defense on a Special Event is expected to be roleplayed for heavily on the WeWA General Roleplay Board and the Special Event specific Board.

5.4 Other Championships:

All WeWA Champions can hold any regional title they wish, they can however vacate their regional title if they choose to in order to concentrate on their WeWA Championship.

WeWA singles champions will be prohibited from holding any other WeWA title. If any WeWA Champion defeats another WeWA Champion for the title, they must immediately vacate one of the two titles they hold straight after the bout has occurred.

In case this happens, let the Board of Directors know which title you want to drop or you will lose both.

5.5 WeWA Championship Defense Rule:

Champions are expected to defend their titles at least once every thirty (30) days. If at any time a champion is not able to defend his/her title, the title will be vacated.

5.6 Home Booking Office Participation:

Champions are expected to stay active in their home booking office they were contracted to, under the full-time contract rule, before they captured a WeWA Championship. When scheduling appearances, the home booking office shall receive first priority. Champions may change their home booking office provided they give proper notification and fulfill all scheduled matches before leaving.

5.7 WeWA Title Changes:

Winning a WeWA Championship is based on six different factors, unlike regional promotion championships. Regional titles are controlled solely by the regional promoter and they may base title changes on any format they so desire.

WeWA titles are decided much differently. The WeWA Championship Committee usually determines title changes based on the following criteria:
1) Champion's Recent Performance.
2) Challenger's Recent Performance.
3) Roleplays of the Champion
4) Roleplays of the Challenger.
5) Any angles or storylines that might be present.
6) Both competitors sent in a strat.

Title changes are not based solely on roleplays. Doing so could result in the World Championship changing hands several times each week. This is not good for the wrestlers or the organization. The World eWrestling Alliance runs, and functions similarly to the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA). Much like the NWA, titles are influenced by running storylines and angles.

However the WeWA will strive to be as fair and as honest as possible and it is possible to win a WeWA title on any given night. It usually takes several attempts to capture a WeWA title, just like in the real thing.

Wrestlers need to campaign for titles. This includes challenging champions on their promotion's roleplay board, on the WeWA General Roleplay Board, getting their promoter to "push" them into championship status, and of course, demonstrating an exceptional ability to roleplay.

WeWA Front Office Information:

6.0 Strategy Forms:

In order to allow you to be more involved in your characters matches, we accept strategy forms. You can find the form on the World Boards, in any event area. For pay-per-views OR WeWA title matches, the failure to submit a strategy form will result in your character losing the match. The same is true of an improperly formatted strategy form. The format is what is used on the shows; the idea is for them to be plugged directly into the show. If you are unsure as to what format, consult with a Board of Directors member.

The WeWA requires that all wrestlers on an alliance show, or in a regional title defense, complete and send a strat form to the Championship Committee by the date set. WeWA Events will always have a deadline for strats that corresponds to the roleplay deadline of the event. If you have a problem with the deadline, feel free to contact a staff member and we will see what we can work out. Regional Title defense strat forms are due at the time set by the promoter.

There are no promises anything you write in a strategy form will be used. However, we will make every effort to insure most of what is submitted will be used. If something is not used, there will be a good reason.

6.1 WeWA World Rankings:

The World Rankings consist of rankings submitted by each promoter in the monthly status report. This information is tallied and then put together each month by the Board of Directors and posted on the main site. These rankings do not include the WeWA Champions as they are above the rankings.

6.2 WeWA Championship Calendars:

The Championship Committee will provide a calendar for all to see which will give the details of when each promotion will receive a WeWA Championship match as requested during the monthly status report. This calendar will tell when the promotion gets a match, who the champion will face, the date of the match, and the event name that the match will appear.

As stated in section 5.1 of this rule book, in order for the promotion to get the title shot the promoter must fill out the Monthly Status Report and give the match information. Otherwise the promotion will get no title shot.

6.3 Rule Changes:

The WeWA Board of Directors may change any rule in this rulebook at any time, with or without the prior permission or consent of any individual or group. Any changes must be followed as if they were in this rulebook from the beginning.
